Uptown/Downtown. Saturday/Sunday. This blog bursts forth from the stream that flows between two precious jewels nestled together -beloved Saturday and cherished Sunday. Saturday writing begins uptight and unsure, so much shedding of armor is needed to access that place where words fall freely. By Sunday the words are dancing, but then start to coil up in their awareness that the party is about to end, wincing at the constricting shell of the impending work week.
This phenomenon, words born from between the boundaries of impossibility, brings to mind a message I once saw on a poster at the gym, "Pressure Makes Diamonds."
