I received some very helpful feedback from my wise and wonderful artist friends, Dianne and Juliana, regarding yesterday's post. They both pointed out that it's not about having a completed drawing every day, but that it's life itself that is the work of art, and doodles, photos, and uncompleted pieces can be a part of that. Dianne added that Robert Raushenberg, when asked how he would categorize his combines, prints, and photos said "Well I'm a painter so they must be paintings". So 'Anne Wood's Daily Art Works' will carry on, even if it means expanding the concept of 'art works' and letting go of what I wish I could be making at this time. Thank you dear friends.
