French jars
I haven't had a spare second to draw today so I'm posting a photo of the jars I use for water when painting. Two of them I bought at La Maison du Miel in Paris. It's a store that sells thirty-five different types of honey, all of them made in France. There's chestnut, lavender, and pine honey. There's honey made from bees in the Alpes, Pyrenees, and Provence. They vary quite a bit in viscosity and color. Wouldn't it be lovely to be a French bee?
The other one was a jar of "Quatre fruits blonds" jam from La Mer du Famille, the most magical confectionary and chocolate shop outside of Santa Fe. While wandering the streets of Paris I was asked for directions three times. I was mistaken for a French girl! *sigh*
